Patrick Welch

Mr. Welch is an experienced energy professional with over a decade of experience in both load and generation aspects of the energy industry. He started his career with EnerNOC (now Enel X) where he assisted large corporate and municipal partners with load management and structured procurement of electricity and natural gas commodities. Mr. Welch then moved to the generation side where he led project marketing efforts for utility scale PV project across the US. This included asset management, compliance reporting and regulatory research roles, guiding the overall country strategy. Mr. Welch when moved to a development and management focused role at Core Development Group where he focused on community solar and commercial deployments in the Mid-Atlantic region. He also managed the development and business development of a utility scale hybrid project in California. Mr. Welch has a background in legal, programming, finance, and economics. He has a passion for big data and implementation of tech to make life easier which is why he founded Terrapin Energy and Environment (TEE). With TEE, Mr. Welch wants to accelerate energy deployment and make management of those assets more efficient.
